Except for the following -
In the course of re-scanning most of my 'Last Freight' slides from late August, 1968, I came across one that is so dark - taken directly against the sun, from the
highway dirt road looking toward Cumbres Loop (aka 'Tanglefoot Curve') - that it didn't make it into the carousel to be projected! I had to scan it twice (once for the sky and once for the foreground) and combine the two images to get anything even close to recognizable. After spending a few hours,** I finally gave up trying to get the colors anywhere close to reality, and converted a copy to black & white (infra-red) using Photoshop Ailments. About the only excuse for posting this atrocity is that it does clearly show the two loads of wallboard - and the kibutz - of the very last D&RGW revenue train to cross Cumbres Pass westbound
