The engine ashes could be dumped on the new spur at Coxo when they service the engine, using a Cumbres base. There is little need for a second engine now that we see, thanks to Rich Muth, the true count of available passenger cars on the east end. They would have to move some passenger box cars over before, and if, any engine is transfered. So far no revenue is being turned away.

The best way to restore the deck is timber by timber on the iron beams and not try to make panels because the timbers are 8x16 lumber. Ties would not hold even for dragging an engine over because of the beam seperation.

They should market the new cheaper ride of Chama to Lobato and return including the wyeing of the whole train at the west end of Chama before return to the station. Two or more trips a day to test the market. That is even longer that the EBT tourist railroad or Strasburg RR.
