Would the good people at Sundance Publications LTD here in Denver be able to offer more information your Lost Canyon question? The author and publisher of The RGS Story series may already know the status of the right of way in that area especially since they do such a good job connecting the past with the present time.
You ask an interesting question. Is the eight miles of track your idea or are there plans by others to relay this stretch of roadbed?
