Earlier I mentioned a reel of film that had an excursion train presumably passing the rock 492 hit. After the NG portion there is a mish-mash of interesting stuff, including the "Royal Gorge" passenger train sitting at the Hanging Bridge. A freight passing it while the RG is in a siding, and some SP #9. It is a fantrip, and I could only make out one sign...Mock. There were a few others but exposure was not great. Might tell more once the film is professionally transferred. My question is does anyone know some info on this trip. It was a mix of one coach, box cars, and gondolas mainly with guys packed into all the cars and on top of them. Would like to know some info on the date of this trip, and so forth.
Thanks,
Greg
PS Had to edit my title, as it changed the spelling to Mantrap!!!! Was supposed to be fan trip. Anyway any info on #9's last runs, or this trip would be appreciated. Interestingly there were a few other odd shots of SP steam including a Daylight GS, a couple of Cab Forwards, and some F-units, and smaller SP engine, either a 2-8-0 or similar.
