Re: YES - On Schedule Today

TO ALL:

After speaking with GLR engineer/fireman/mechanic Dan Adler on the phone, I was informed that the information given to me and which I passed along regarding GLR #12, was quite incorrect. There was no major damage to #12 yesterday on the last run up the hill. I am not sure what EXACTLY happened yesterday, but suffice to say that is was not, I repeat NOT the catastophic failure that I had thought it was. The locomotive and train on running on schedule today, with no major problems. My apologies to all on this board, and in particular to the employees of Railstar, for jumping to conclusions and perpetuating false assumptions.
This will not happen again.

And for all those who doubt it, after working at the GLR last season, I will personally vouch for the hard work and dedication of the crews on the trains, who overcome struggles every day to keep the railroad running. They keep it going, rain or shine, and still manage to be kind and courteous to strange foamers like myself.
