Could be 1956--the 487 still has it's flanger indicator and the large number boards are gone in front of the stack. I think 1956 was the first year the 487 got it's plow. I always liked the switcher pilot it had in 1952-54 time frame. It appears to be an excursion of some kind with the 212 behind the box car. Nice photo. Thanks.
