I have no idea what things are like with that property to the west now-a-days, but back in the old days" the town of Silver Plume used to put tickets on vehicles that parked there. It was private property any poor tourist that parked there ended up with a surprise. The town never did enforce it and as far as I know, no one ever had to pay the fee. The town just wanted to make a point that the railroad was not welcome.
