Looking at Kevins shots taken in 2019, and discussing quality, made me look at a couple of my old NG shots for comparison. I also saw a shot at Cresco in a 2019 calendar taken on a photo special which was really nice and sharp, but the pine on the left was almost obtrusive in his shot. So here are two shots, the first being 483 on the June 5, 1968 first trip up Cumbres Pass for the year. Note the lack of pines on the left. This was shot with a cheapo Kodak Instamatic.
The second one was 483 acting as the helper for 488(If I remember right). This was shot with a 35mm SLR in 1976. Note the sharpness is much better, but also the pine on the left and how big it is. Today this shot may not be easy to get. I posted these shots before but never together to compare.
