IIRC, Alan has just returned from a well-earned and much-needed vacation, and we should give him
some time to adjust to whatever changes have occurred in the C&TS management hierarchy before
bugging him with questions about the still-possible 40th Anniversary Celebration in August. We still
have six months to get work out details, and some of the groundwork has already been laid.

I just checked the C&TS website, and the 40Th Anniversary Celebration is still posted at the top
of the list of Special Events on the right side of the page ...

Can we please all wait a week or so before getting all wrapped up in wild guesses and conjecture?
