We looked into using cooking oil on the SLRG as a replacement for the reclaimed oil we currently use. We found it was a bit cheaper than the reclaimed oil but the BTU's were about 30% less. The loss of btu's overcame the savings. The only dealer we found told us we had to buy a large amount and we didn't have that much storage capacity. We think using reclaimed oil is a nice "green" thing to do, so we're sticking to it.
