It all has to do with the BTU rating of the fuel you are using. Most if all bio diesel fuel is a blend of recycled cooking oils and regular diesel. It has nearly the same BTU's (slightly lower)and from what I have seen it burns much cleaner. Somewhere I have run across the specs on this stuff.
