Guy's, we need some advise on an interesting question of track.
El Dorado County, east of Sacramento, has approved the development of a operating Railroad Park, featuring logging equipment from the Diamond and Caldor and Mich / Cal narrow guage railroads. This operation is named the El Dorado Western. The mainline will utilze former S.P. Placerville Branch track in duel guage. After some years in planning, were approved to start trackwork. We would appreciate your advise on what "spiking guage" settings your various groups are using to set track, both tangent and curvature. This will allow us to have adjustable guagebar settings and avoid wheel binding or crawl out from tight guage. Our Blog is eldoradowestern.blogspot.com, Thanks alot.
