I studied Industrial Design for two years before changing majors. Aside from being royally ripped off on polyurethane foam, my lasting memory was when one professor, an accomplished professional, said, "I envy you guys so much for getting to start on the bottom. The pay doesn't get good until you're in management, but then you don't get to do the fun work anymore - just watch over those that do."
