Hello again -
Per Charlie McCandless, "There was also a work train operated with the 483 out of Alamosa
in late summer." This implies that #483 either moved light or pulled a train from Chama to
Alamosa after her movie work was done in mid-October, and also implies that this work train
ran all the way to Durango since #483 pulled the NPS special in late November.
Does anyone have details on #483's activities in 1968 after her movie work was done?
Also, I'm still not clear on the details of the National Park Service Special in late November.
Did the NPS officials ride the entire 'main line' from Durango to Alamosa, or only from Chama to Antonito?
Did the train cover the entire 'main line' in one day, or did it leave Durango on November 23 and spend the night in Chama?
Thanks everyone for helping with this!

Final Years' book, which will have a complete listing of all NG trains in 1967-68.
