Grand Junction has always had it's share of boom and bust, but still, it was a great place to live. That "other" building used to be the Rio Grande office building. Like Robert said, it is now used by others and is not for sale. It was nicely remodeled several years ago. I agree that the depot would need a lot of work, but the overall "depot feeling" is still there. Like I said before, hopefully it won't go away like so many others. I sold D&RGW boxcar 3001 back in 1992. The gentleman that bought it put in on display with a standard gauge outfit car and the property was an antique shop and coffee shop. It was just down the street from the depot. Is the 3001 still there? I had heard the whole thing was for sale a few years ago.
