That coach is the only remaining car from the old Lake Tahoe Railway & Transportation Co. railroad between Truckee, CA, and Tahoe City at Lake Tahoe. The Nevada State RR Museum has one unrestored 4-4-0 from that line, the "Glenbrook". Everything else is gone.
Espee bout the line in 1926 and standard gauged it. That, in turn, was scrapped at the beginning of WWII or slightly earlier.
