A few observations
(1) So, is the wye at Big Horn operational for all engines, including the K36's? This is the first time I have seen shots there....I assume it was turned there, eh!??
(2) With 20 people, was it really necessary to have 3 cabooses? I think if the consist is not made more naturally historic then why not just put a couple of red coaches behind it and take photos??? Suggest a bunk car and a caboose next time, or maybe a rider gon and caboose for 20 people.
(3) Noted the white flags were higher than the previous trips where they were mounted on the pilot. This looks much better, but the photos I saw of 315 in regular service had the flag mounts on top of the boiler I believe on either side of the headlight and were a bit smaller cloth portion. These look kinda big, but its an improvement.
(4) Nicely executed shots Russ. I like Phantom curve especially where you were. Have never shot it that direction, so would love to do that someday. Problem is it takes so bloody long to get to Big Horn from Chama, chewing up crew service hours so quickly, with little time for runbys. I guess thats the flip side(or downside) to having a 64 mile railroad.
Thanks for posting.

PS Maybe one day I will actually get out there again. I plan at least to ride the line once if nothing else.
