Thanks, Chris!
I'm trying to make up for lost time, in a way. Back when film and developing were so
expensive - and we thought every shot of a working steam engine could be the last - I
focused on the locomotives. With the luxury of digital photography, and the knowledge
that the C&TS, etc., will be around for a while, I'm enjoying the opportunity to fill in the
gaps in both my photos of railroading and my knowledge of what is being done and why.
Getting to meet the guys (and gals) behind the scenes also makes the whole experience MUCH more enjoyable. Alan, Dennis, Michelle and Soni are super people, who put their hearts into what they're doing. Getting to pal around with Micheal and Roger for a looong day on the 29th was like frosting on the cake!
