The standard gauge in the US and most of Europe is
56.5" or 1435 mm

There are 2 fairly "common" narrow gauges in the us
24" or 609.6 mm
36" or 914.4 mm

In South Africa the prevailing gauge is
42" or 1067 mm

In some parts of Europe the Meter Gauge is common
39.37" or 1000 mm

In Russia the prevailing gauge is
60" pr 1524 mm

What other gauges are fairly commonly in use around the world?
