Hi,

Over on the Yahoo groups Tweetsie forum, they were trying to understand why the ET&WNC narrow gauge was not as popular as the D&RGW and the EBT.
Over there the conclusion was that it "died" early (c1950) and was not yet discovered by the railfans that did chance on the last decades of the D&RGW ng operations.

In my opinion, they need to advertise. How about some posts of the Doe River Gorge during the narrow gauge days - I think they would challenge the Phantom Canyon photo that is thankfully posted below.

Any ET&WNC readers out there?
