As I understand it, getting a railroad to touch them is really the key issue with wooden cars. I would presume that those cars would need to be trucked from Montana to Alamosa. I don't even want to think about the kind of repairs they would need for service on a tourist line...ouch!
I think O Anderson may have a point...it does sometimes feel like the CATS and NNG forum at time. Still, I visit regularly as I love the updates on RGS 20, the new EBT trucks, and everything else like that.
