...And any discussion about the SLRG is a logical extension of this group, which might be sometimes called the Rocky Mountain Railroads and Sometimes Other Stuff Including Narrow Gauge Discussion Forum. I don't mind, per se, but I think using NNG as a prefix is becoming more common than not. ;-)

I like that the group has good reporting with a fair amount of real restoration and history information, versus plain railfan babble talk. Another good aspect is that in the last few years I think we see more non-Colorado NG discussion per month than ever before. RYPN is a better forum for NNG preservation and history discussion, IMHO. On the other hand, you will probably get more experts about Colorado here, if that is your focus.
