1940 Mercury dime found at the Cumbres Wye tail track switch when I was throwing the switch for the helper locomotive (Probably lost by some poor brakeman who now couldn't buy his cup of coffee when he got off duty).

Rio Grande pin found at Villa Grove yard by George Sapp when he was 2 feet from me, but graciously given to me (he didn't want to see me cry)
SP Sunset route box car lock found at SPng wreck site by George (I saw him pick it up)and also given to me (again a desire to not see tears)

Piece of flatcar stake pocket with B&B (Bodie & Benton) cold chiseled into it found in woods near Mono Mills(George says I need to credit him with finding it and giving it to me only after hearing me whimper for 20 minutes)
Two man hand saw found at Relief Reservoir in Sierra (and left there for the next guy...)
One half of a broken truck spring on the Merced Gold Mine RR. 1 mile later I found the other broken half, gave both to John Swigert who was with me and researching the line.
Oh, and the topic of C&C Then and Now #14 (which will be concluded and revealed shortly)
This is all over a 30 year time period and some of this stuff was left where it was found. I've actually stopped collecting much and am considering donations to museums as much of this I don't have room for anymore and it would be nice to make sure it gets preserved after I'm gone.
Don't even get me started about my plane wreck stuff...
