It is my understanding that they will continue to run only 2 steam trips per day and the rest will be diesel. I do not believe they will elimintate steam all together.
Since they are about the only railroad that can use their particular locomotives, The only hope they have of selling the steamer is to a collecter. I don't think there is another RR in the US that can use their equiptment. Perhaps one in Europe? I don't know for sure.
