Steam locomotive #4 is nearing completion on is rebuilding at the Manitou & Pikes Peak Railway. Plans are to do some test runs in the yard area during the third week of October as soon as Snowplow#22 work on its power plant is completed and it is out of the way. Right now #4 is trapped in the shop behind the snowplow. Check out the M&PP website for updates.
Work on the steam locomotive has been completed by Steven Butler (SL&RG). Phil Johnson (CRRM),Ken Smith & Mike Doty (M&PP Ry).
