There's one expense we don't need to worry about - the projectionist.
While in high school I was almost always the 16 mm projectionist for
movies shown in my classes, and during 1972-73 was the primary
projectionist at the Sheridan Opera House Theatre in To-Hell-U-Ride -
where I got a LOT of experience with changeovers. (Of course, I'd need
to practice a little, just to refresh the skills.)
$3,000 - $5,000 seems like a lot, however. But if the #489 "Season in Green" project doesn't come about, I could probably contribute a few bucks to a "Classic Train Movie" fund ...
The biggest problem would be finding a usable theatre in Chama or Antonito, even without the pipe organ!
