69 is a deckless engine with a closed back wall. As built the backhead extended about 18" outside the back wall. So firing the engine with no protection from the elements or access to the enjectors or the gages would have been an iron dog. ALso with 21x22 inch cylinders she whould have consumed steam like there iwas no tommorrow.
With regards to the rest of the equipment at Stuhr, the F&CC coach will begin restoration around the first of the year after the construction on the shop building is completed. This will be a major restoration at all of the original running gear was removed in about 1929. If one looks closely at the pictures the car is sitting on AC&F trucks and missing some very important hardware.
The baggage car is C&S and built in 1874 as #104 one of the duckbill cars? the platforms appear to have been removed when it recieved automatic couplers. Stuhr extended the platforms to match the other coach.
the rest to the freight equip is D&RG AC&F built all acquired from the North Platte operation in 1975
Hope this answers some questions
