MYork in Dicks pic of 41 you can see the headlight with a small pile of snow right in front of it. Although not in this pic RGS crews later removed the viser and made two brakets on iether side of the light and, they would slide a metal plate infront of the light so as not to break the glass when the snow piled up.

Dick thanks for shareing the info about the pic.I recall reading in one of my RGS books that when they mounted that big wedge plow on 41 she kept derailing at switches and crossings, and Vierden was haveing fits because of that.
