great map!
I'll try it out the week after the 315 special, when I chase the regular trains.
There might be an easy way to augment the map with coordinates (which is useful for all people like me with an GPS to not get lost
)
The maps of that region in maps.google.com are poor, however the maps in maps.live.com (now bing), are great.
I've tried to find the first turn you have described, maybe you can confirm quickly, the coordinates are directly in the links:

To get this link, I've right click at the point, selected "center map" from the context menu and then selected "forward" from the menu over the map which gave me that link.

P.S. I can't switch the user interface of Bing Maps to English, so "center map" and "forward" are just the back-translations done my be, the actual terms used in the English interface might be slightly different
