HI, Dave -
The 'road' to the south side of the lower loop of The Whiplash was marked as closed by the
Forest Service last year,
* so that shouldn't cause problems unless it's been re-opened.
The 'roads' to "Russo's Rock" don't provide access to any areas that would leave a car visible
from the usual photo run-by locations, and new ballast at the two "crossings" of the upper loop
left them impassable to anything but an ATV last summer.
Hopefully, anyone who does manage to get a vehicle close to the Section House site will be considerate enough to hide it from view.
Everything else on my maps is pretty well known - such as Sublette and Osier - or requires a pretty good hike.

* The sign was just a thin post in the middle of a wide area with many different traces of roads, and I didn't even notice it when trying to find my way in to where I had seen two ATV's a couple of days before; it was pointed out by a C&TS employee when he saw me driving out. And my car was well-hidden from photographers on the upper loop - they didn't spot me until I yelled, "Hey, that's
MY rock!!" at them.
