Starting last Friday and continuing through August 2, we are operating a daily round trip from La Veta to Alamosa and return in addition to the regular Alamosa-La Veta train. With the LV-ALA train out, there is nothing left in the yard.

Check our website for car info and schedules. 1744's boiler is still at the rebuilder's shop in Alabama. It might be back this fall.

The corporation owns 5 dome cars. One is on the Mt. Hood RR in Oregon, the other 4 are in Alamosa on the SLRG.

They are owned by Steam CMO Steven Butler. He also has a flat car on the property. Yes, they are D&RGW ng cars.
