general snow conditions Alpine tunnel middle June?

Am planning a trip to the area during middle June and would like to make it up to the tunnel, but if snow is blocking along the Palisades or lower than it would be impossible.
Just wondering what the road conditions are for that time of year average?, do they plow it? Any locals that can give a report around first of June?
