5-10 years ago there were rumblings about a narrow gauge operation on the Creede branch with the 169. They either did have great prospects at one time, or they were good at marketing. After a while, it just sort of disappeared. I thought the Creede and 169 groups were separate entities, but closely allied.

I can't imagine how tough it would be to restore the 169. She's been sitting outdoors for nearly 70 years! At this point, she's sat out in the weather for 10 years longer than she ran. I'm glad they had the foresight to save both T-12a.
