Thanks for the response. That is interesting-- I would have thought the T-12's received the economy clamshell doors like the C-series engines. Makes me wonder if the C-series locomotives received their economy firedoors later, after the T-12's were retired. I can't figure out why the C-series would have been treated any differently than the T-12's on the issue of firedoors. Who knows?
