The location is typical for a Heisler. They liked to mount them on the frame ahead of the cylinders. #3's builder specs show it was ordered with a 9 1/2" compressor on the right side. Later it was fitted to an 8 1/2" cross compound on the right side. By the time Butler got it, it was back to a single lung 9 1/2". Butler fitted it with another 9 1/2" pump on the left side (he likes air pumps). Always nice to have lots of air.
