I like the location of the compressor...low enough so you can take up on packing from the ground. Somebody was thinking when they designed it.
Conversely, Hillcrest Lbr. Co.'s Climax 10 has her cross-compound mounted so that the middle of the compressor is about even with the running board making for an awkward to get to appliance, too high to get to from the ground & forcing you to lean way over while kneeling on the running board.
