The alignment maps prepared by the SP about 1906 show an engine house on the westerly side of the main southerly of the depot with the switch removed. The original ink-on-linen maps are at Nevada Historical and NSRM was recently donated a set of prints that had been saved during an SP clean-out.
The late Dale Darney had said that the engine house at Laws was relocated to Belleville in the late 1880s. This was because there was no longer a need for it at Laws and the overnight stopping point was going to be Belleville instead of Candelaria. This would have been a wooden structure similar to what existed at Keeler into the late 1940s; similar ones were at Hawthorne and Candelaria.
A wood dock is also a possibility.
Belleville was 3.0 miles from Filben (the junction of the Candelaria branch) according to the employee timetables.
