Location is very close to the location of the Jim Morley photo near the end of Steamcars to the Comstock. About three or four pages in from the back of the book - the pages don't seem to be numbered. The Tonopah & Goldfield water tank was just to the right of the bushes / trees in the distance. The road leading to the town that shows to the right of the tracks is visible in the current photo. Morely may have stood virtually at the same location, but about three or four feet to the left. Photo must have been about 1938 - after abandonment, but before the rails were lifted. On the opposite page of Steamcars to the Comstock is a photo by S. G. Morely of the Mt. Montgomery station, again, after abandonment.
