Regarding the ads. Viewing your site a while back the ads were trying to hook on so bad that I had to crash out and shut down the computer. Only later I learned that I destroyed 5 hours of map drawing I had done earlier in the day.
Want a real profitable action for your South Fork railroad? Establish a tubbing section and run the motor cars to carry the tubs and drifter up the river. That depends on the temperature of the river, and lack of snakes. In the Catskill Mountains at Phoeicia, NY, the Catskill Mountain RR does just that for 3 miles. They now use a very small locomotive, 2 flat cars and wooden caboose. One flat carries the tubs, the other the wet-backs, and caboose for extra riders. The CMt.RR started this service first with motor cars and large push-carts. Eventually the State requires better brakes as there were none on the push-carts. At Phoeicia, independent dealers rent the tubs but this could be done by the railroad to reap all the profits. You would have gangs of people driving in from 100 miles away.
