Bruce, I visited the farm about the time they started building the 36" equipment. It was really
a contrast. Here is this farm with the classic 250 year old house with 36" gauge cars all over the lot and the front end of the engine showing thru the sliding door of the big shop building behind it.
The Park Train Website mentions that they don't know how many 15" engines were built. I don't know either but I do remember Bert telling me that it was "too bad about the 15" equipment."
OSHA's assault on the foundries made castings so high that there was little difference in the price of the 15' and the 24'and the 24" would haul three times the people as so most everyone was buying the 24". About the only sale of the 15" was to people buying them for private tracks. Jim
