My grandfather was a shop forman at WABCO. He supervised the crating and delivery of the effects of the steam locomotive compressor division. This was in the late 1950's,maybe 1958-59. I remember vividly him taking me and my brother over to Ken's farm in West Newton to see all of the neat stuff. At that time the bulk of his business was the 15-16" gauge equipment, although he was building 24" gauge trains by that time.
