I would document this in place before moving it. If a part comes loose, number it in paint and identify it on a plan. Then pick up the pieces and set them on pallets or in boxes, or build a custom plywood structure, then wrap in plastic. This is worth restoring, but will require several months of an experienced woodworker such as Glenn Guerra, or years of volunteers.
It probably would have been better left in Michigan where rot is on hold for 5-6 months of the year on account of cold temperatures. But hindsight is 20-20 and the effort was worthy at the time, not knowing the future of things in Michigan.
