Can't recall off the top of my head which one of the 470s the brakeman's cabin (in fan-speak, 'doghouse') came from, but it was one of the seven which went to Alaska. The thing was, in order to get it to fit, and allow the water hatch to oepn, it was mounted sideways on 453's tender. On the K-28s, K-36's and K-37's the rounded roof is oriented as if it were a round-roofed car, with the high point on the roof along the center line of the tender.
