John,

thanks a lot for point out the VueScan Software. i just downloaded the Version 8.4.79 and just upgraded right away into the professsional version. It looks very good and compared to my Nilon Version 4.02 it looks much better. I do scan Kodakchromes and had no trouble with the Nikon software but the infared clean is a wonderful tool.
