I have been to Greenfield Village four times in the past 30 years. During that time the "Torch Lake" has been painted three different ways: two different ways for the Hecla & Torch Lake Railroad and most recently for the Calumet & Hecla Mining Company. IIRC, the mining company owned the railroad, so both labelings may be correct.
