Tim basically characterized the idea of planting trees to offset global climate change a @#$%& idea. I don't agree with him or his reasons, but the insult John is refering to was more to the idea than the individual. Nevertheless it was an insult.

However John is also threatening to ask us to leave, and I can't allow threats either.

Therefore this thread is closed, and I'd like to ask that nothing be started in it's place. IF a new thread is started on this subject it will be summarily deleted.

Edit: "Threatening" is the wrong term. John has been incredibly generous in hosting us and using that term is simply disrespectful for all he has done. It is public knowledge that we are hosted on his servers and things posted here can be interpreted as carrying his endorsement. I apologize for that [second edit] phraseology. I did feel threatened, but we're getting a heck of a freebie here, and accusing John of threatening me with anything is silly. I'm just not in the position to do that. No matter what happens, we all owe him a debt of gratitude for all he's done.
