Thanks for the correction. I'm not sure how I got the geography confused. It may be my age-based general confusion, or the fact that my trip was some forty years ago.
I also enjoyed the Achenseebahn, and the magnificent ride out of Interlaken to the Jungfrau. (Hope I've got the names and places more or less correct.) I'd spent the summer in Munich, studying German, and took train trips every weekend. What a great time.
