I believe you are mostly correct. I posted the wrong Sharron drawing in the previos posting. The proper one would have been this one which has a shorter head than the MCB Revised one from the 1919 Car Builders dictionary posted earlier. Note the difference from the knuckle to the striking face at the rear of the coupler head. the revised is 12.25inches and the older one is 9.25. Both are MCB Standard Couplers as used on standard gauge equipment at that time, and on the D&RG and C&S Narrow gauges also

Here are a couple of my fathers sketches from 1962 of a Sharon Coupler on one of the cars at Knotts. Unfortunatly Posted upside down. They are made to a scale of .250" = 1"
