John, David summed it up pretty well. Here are two pictures that were taken a couple of thousand feet north of the end of track, at the "top of the mountain." Looking north in the first image you can see how the growth gets heavier to the right -- where the ROW has been thinned, but not completely cleared. The second photo looks south from the same spot. ROW cutting was put on hold this winter to cut and clear a parking area at Sheepscot.
