I would be surprised if any of the Narrow Gauge tourist roads spent much time thinking aobut night running. As it is, they spend very little time running at night. (C&TS about once per year), G-town loop, only if they breakdown and "have to". The only one that might need to start thinking about it is D&S. From the sound of it, they are increasing their # of daily runs, and running longer in the year. So may have some effect.
Question in my mind is what kind of electrical system does a steam locomotive have. Volts? Amps? AC or DC?
I've always assumed DC @ about 100 volts, but that sounds pretty dangerous. Since Wstinghouse was a Tesla supporter, anything is possible, I suppose.
